RESTored

REST is a vital part of the human experience.

 Through REST, we access the energy needed to move through our days with ease and grace.

I find that when I am well RESTed I am more creative, present, loving and nurturing.

Here are my favorite forms of RESToration outside of sleep.

I feel RESTored by the ocean, with my feet grounded in the sand, hearing nothing but the waves.

I feel RESTored when I take a quiet walk in nature.

I feel RESTored when I take ten deep breaths. Inhaling through my nose and exhaling slowly through my mouth for a count of six. SIX counts IN and SIX counts OUT.

I feel RESTored when I put away my phone and pick up a good book.

I feel RESTored when I use my Beautycounter sugar scrub in the bath while listening to my favorite Spotify playlist.

I feel RESTored when I cuddle up with a cup of chamomile tea.

I feel RESTored when I see my children and husband smile.
